Ethiopia Yirgacheffe ARICHA Adorsi Anaerobic Natural Limited Edition (ET061)

This is a limited edition lot of coffee (only have 4kg) from this famous private washing station in Yirgacheffe. Anaerobic processing first started in Latin America regions like Colombia, and now started adopted in Ethiopia. The process require a special setup called dark room in the farm. Coffee cherries are first fermented in an anaerobic condition for few days before putting on drying bed. Winey taste will be very outstanding and sweetness level will also increase.

Adorsi washing station was established in 2018 by Testi Specialty Coffee, located in the Yirgacheffe district nearby the namesake town of Yirgacheffe, in the famed coffee-growing area. 800 smallholder farmers growing with plots ranging from 1950 – 2150 masl deliver cherry to this station, mainly of the Kurume variety. Testi is deeply involved in the communities surrounding their network of washing stations, with a particular focus on providing access to education for farmer’s children.
