Colombia Inzá Vereda San Antonio

Taste note: Raw sugar, dark honey, raisin and dehydrated apricot

This coffee from Inzá is made up of coffee from Vereda San Antonio, “vereda” being the equivalent of a small neighborhood in Spanish. It’s created by the Sweet Maria’s team locally trying to bring out the best of Inza, by mixing the best quality lot from 10 selected farmers. The province of Inzá is located in Southwestern Colombia within the greater Department of Cauca. It’s proximity to the equator makes it possible to grow coffee really high (>2000m) in altitude in this growing region.

Good at both dark and lighter roast

This coffee has good character in both light and darker roast, I tried both when doing taste profiling. Sweetness is the based on this coffee, with Raw sugar, dark honey and raisin taste in lighter roast. When go darker there us a bittersweet with a black currant accent, very good balance with the sweetness.
