Taiwan Baishengcun Bourbon Honey

Winery aroma and flavor, with grape fruity taste when cool, long lasting after taste of black tea

Baishengcun is an award winning farm in Nantau county of Taiwan. The altitude is not high, only 500m, which limit the cup profile to compete with more high altitude farm in Alishan growing region. As a result, the farm focus a lot on the latest processing technology like anaerobic.

This lot of coffee is honey process with 72-hour anaerobic before putting on drying bed. In order to control the total time of drying, they will also use electric drying cabinet to complement. As a result, the processing cost won’t be too low. That’s the reason why Taiwan grown coffee seldom can be available outside Taiwan, cost is too high for other roster to consider. this lot of coffee is bought directly from the farm when I’m spending a night in Baishengcun in November 2019.
