Zou Estate, with an elevation of 1200 masl, is a coffee estate in Alishan, Taiwan containing a coffee shop, tea plantation and orchid plantation. With the dedicated efforts of the owner Mr Fang Zheng Lun (nickname as Coffee Prince), Zou Estate’s beans keep winning awards for years.
In the past few years, Taiwan coffee beans, through the efforts of farmers and various parties, finally began to follow a clear line of high quality. Of course, the rise of the Alishan production area cannot be deviated from. When it comes to Alishan coffee, Zou Estate is one of the outstanding ones. Through the cultivation of varieties and the improvement of processing methods, the manor has repeatedly achieved good results in regional and national evaluations. He grows different variety to test of the results, first batch are mainly Caturra or Caturi type of Bourbon family coffee which started by 10 years ago. This batch is a washed processed one from those. More and more geisha variety coffee have stable production starting from last year.
Mr. Fang Zheng Lun, also known as the “Coffee Prince” of Taiwan. He earned this moniker by repeatedly winning first place for his green coffee in the national green coffee competition. He runs an experimental workshop for other Taiwanese coffee farmers to provide them the knowledge they need to produce exceptional coffees.
