Baishengcun is an award winning farm in Nantau county of Taiwan. The altitude is not high, only 500m, which limit the cup profile to compete with more high altitude farm in Alishan growing region. As a result, the farm focus a lot on the latest processing technology like anaerobic.
I’ve regular visit to this farm since 2019 as it’s really accessible to Tai Chung city. The farm also upgraded around that time to include a big sitting area and hostel. Baishengcun has become a must stop if you plan for a coffee farm hopping tour in Taiwan.
This lot is a washed processed coffee from their farm’s oldest coffee trees. Most processing methodology are state-of-the-art with help of highly industrialized machines manufactured locally in Taiwan. The third generation of the farm has also participate actively in the specialty coffee cycle in Taiwan by joining roasting competition, getting himself Q-graded, etc.
