The southern parts of Vietnam harbours the conditions for growing Robusta, whereas in the north, the higher altitude suits the more preferred Arabica. Robusta is still the dominant crop coming out of Vietnam, therefore this fine, grade 1 Arabica sourced by UK importer Pennie Tea & Coffee can be considered exclusive and rare.

If you want a high-grade bean from the heart of Asia’s coffee production, then Vietnam Lam Dong G1 Arabica is the perfect choice. This coffee has a medium body and mild acidity with deeper, spicy flavours coming later in the nose.

Grown at an altitude between 1000 – 1600 masl, Lam Dong is renowned for its Arabica coffee production. Stunning views and carved hillsides reveal over 23,000 hectares totally devoted to Arabica plantations.

The capital of the province, Da Lat City carries memoirs of Indochina and still preserves the colonial charm of an Asiatic-French fusion and is a popular tourist destination. It is located in the Central Highlands region of Vietnam and its economy is based largely on agriculture and apart from coffee, tea and vegetables are the mail agricultural products.
