Sweet, chocolatey, ripe plum, toasted almond

About This Coffee
We are thrilled to introduce Hawaii Kona Honaunau Purple Mountain — our first organic Kona offering and a true icon of Hawaiian coffee heritage. Grown in the Honaunau District on the slopes of Mauna Loa, this lot comes from Kona Purple Mountain farm, a family operation producing 100% pure Kona coffee since 1976.
At approximately 600 meters elevation, the coffee benefits from rich volcanic soil, consistent Pacific breezes, and the perfect balance of sunshine and rainfall that makes Kona one of the most sought-after origins in the world. The beans are large, dense, and hand-picked before sun-drying — the traditional Kona method that preserves their signature smoothness and complexity.
This is the pure, classic Kona experience: big bean size, exceptional body, and that unmistakable island sweetness. It perfectly embodies the farmer’s love for the land and the unique microclimate of the Big Island.
Flavor Profile
Cupping Notes: Sweet and chocolatey with fruity undertones — think milk chocolate, ripe plum, toasted almond, and a bright citrus sparkle that lingers in a clean, silky finish. Low bitterness, smooth mouthfeel, and elegant acidity make it outstanding as both espresso and filter.
