Bukit Sama is a co-operative in ACHE province of Sumatra, having a long history of more than 60 years of continue operation. Coffee are growing by small farmers in altitude range from 1350 to 1550m above sea level. The growing area is on the slope an old volcano, provide a rich soils as well as perfect micro climate for coffe to grow.
Lead by co-op manager Aulia Kahfi, the co-op has developed more modern processing like washed, honey and natural process, etc. in addition to the traditional wet hulling that most Sumatra coffee are processed. In 2019, Aulia Kahfi place 9th in the Sumatra Prestige Cup for his excellent Wet-Hulled lot.
