About This Coffee
This Gesha comes from Finca Rosita, a 32-hectare farm in Illimani, a high Andean mountain region of Caranavi in Bolivia. The farm was named after Rosita Angelica Aramayo, the family matriarch, and continues to be managed by the Aramayo-Valverde family. While most of the farm is planted with the productive Catuaí variety, they also have newer plantings of Java, Typica, Pink Bourbon, and Gesha.
This special Gesha lot was selectively separated from the farm and totaled just 10 bags. The Aramayo family operates their own dry mill on-site and oversees every step of quality control, from the moment the cherries are harvested through the entire dry milling process. Their hands-on approach ensures careful sorting and consistent quality, making this tiny-lot Gesha a standout expression of their farm’s dedication.

Flavor Profile
Cupping notes: This Gesha is delicate and elegant, with a refined sweetness supported by aromatic notes of fragrant tea, subtle floral hints, and soft citric acidity. The dry fragrance shows demi-sugar and demerara sweetness, with faint herbal tea and dried flower notes. The wet aroma is more caramel-like, reminiscent of Dulce de Leche, with a malty undertone and a light touch of jasmine. At the City roast level, the floral Gesha character becomes most expressive, enhancing a clean, simple-syrup sweetness with a brisk lemon note that brightens the acidity. As the cup cools, it reveals lightly perfumed jasmine, followed by herbaceous coriander and green tea notes.
Recommended roast: Light. A light roast brings out the bright, delicate, and origin-specific flavors of the coffee.
