Floral aromatic ,chocolate, caramel, subtly spiced

“La Flor del Café” (The Flower of Coffee) is one of the most celebrated
and iconic specialty coffee selections originating from the historic
Antigua Valley in Guatemala. Prepared under strict quality control
standards established by Hacienda La Minita, this brand represents the
quintessential expression of classic Antigua coffee.
The coffee is sourced from meticulously selected estates surrounding the
colonial city of Antigua. Nestled between three majestic volcanoes—
Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango—the region possesses an ideal
microclimate, rich volcanic ash soils, high altitudes, and consistent shade,
creating perfect conditions for growing high-grade Arabica coffee.
The Antigua Valley experiences sunny, warm days followed by cool, crisp
nights. This significant diurnal temperature variation slows the
development of the coffee cherry, allowing sugars to concentrate deep
within the bean.
1. Shade-Grown: Cultivated under dense canopy trees (such as Gravilea
and Inga) that protect the coffee shrubs and preserve local biodiversity.
2. Volcanic Soil: Regular, subtle volcanic ash deposits from active
Mount Fuego enrich the soil with vital minerals and retain natural
moisture.
3. Selective Harvesting: Cherries are strictly hand-picked at peak
ripeness between December and April.
