Feb 2022 Coffee bean list

Adding 5 new coffee this month (2 more decaf are coming). Keep adding organic certified coffee, this time is from Sumatra Gayo, produced by a women-centric co-cop. The other is a sweet Hondurans from Central America, carrying a strong caramel almond note, good choice for nutty coffee.

Highlight of the month are three Ethiopia new breed. After ECX relax the export restriction, we start seeing coffee separated from traditional big regions like Sidamo, Yirgacheffe and Guji, e.g. West Arsi is an interesting region that originally sold under Sidamo. The hype of new bleeds has pushed to a small climax (guess more will come) by the COE competition in Ethiopia in 2020 and 2021. The 3 coffees added this month from Ethiopia are all exported by making a new way out, either creating a new processing or even a brand new farm. Ethiopia is going to be more and more interesting.

Notes: These Ethiopians are limited offer, only have 100g & 200g bags available. Hope more people can have a chance to taste them.

Will it be even more interesting if Ethiopia Coffee Ceremony culture also exported with this hype? 😬
